The TYR ankle float helps maximize the training of the upper body by immobilizing the legs so that you can concentrate on the stroke of the arm, technique and body positioning. This increases the strength and weight in the water which helps build the strength of the upper body. It provides two levels of resistance, depending on which side to wear. The buoy also helps to raise the hips and legs to concentrate on downhill swimming with an appropriate technique.
